DODGEBALL

This game is played everywhere around the world. It is a group game wherein each group will take turns to hit the members of the other group.

MECHANICS
  1. Form two groups of equal number of players.
  2. Toss coin/any way to choose which group will hit the other members first.
  3. Use a small, light weight ball.
  4. The members of the group that will hit first stays in opposite sides of the playing court, giving the other group enough space to run.
  5. The goal of the game is to hit as many members of the other group as possible.
  6. The members of the other group, on the other hand, try to avoid the ball thrown into them.
  7. Once the they hit the required number of players (5-7), the group wins. It's now the other group's turn to throw the ball.

SKILLS (scale out of 5)

EXPERIENCE

If Agawang Panyo is for my grade school days, Dodgeball, on the other hand, belongs to my high school memories. Whenever given the chance to play, even during small breaktime, my friends and I would definitely choose to play this (if we're conditioned to excrete extra sweat). Hahaha. This is a fun game since you get to be competitive and play harder.

RECOMMENDATION
  • Use water balls instead of a plain ball.
  • A specific part of the body should be the target for more challenge. Yes, the mathematical ability is more useful here! =))

LESSON OF THE GAME

Play hard to get the reward! Hahaha sabaw.

AGAWANG PANYO

This game is a definite pinoy game, it's one of the famous and fun to play actually. It's a group game wherein you need to play individually. Huh? Labo. Haha.

MECHANICS
  1. Form two groups of equal number of players.
  2. Each member is assigned a number. Each should have a counterpart in the other group, i.e., for each number, two players are assigned, one for each group.
  3. The members of each group should stay within its boundaries, which are at the opposite end.
  4. The referee holds a hankerchief and stays in the middle of the boundaries.
  5. When the referee calls a number/s, the players assigned to that/those number/s strives to get the handkerchief and take it to the boundary. The players who holds the handkerchief can be tagged by the members of the other group until he reaches their group boundary.
  6. The game continues until the referees states so.

SKILLS (scale out of 5)
  1. Innocent look (5/5) - effective to para ma-deceive yung other group. Kunyari wala kang plan kunin yung hanky, then get it by the time they least expect you to. Hahaha!
  2. Passing and catching abilities (4/5) - since the hanky can be passed until it is safe to your boundary, dapat ay magaling magpasahan parang sa basketball.
  3. Eluding ability (4/5) - syempre kelangan magalin gkang umiwas hello!
  4. Running ability (4/5) - haler!

EXPERIENCE

This is my most favorite game of all time. I used to enjoy playing this game with my friends during my childhood days. Maybe the reason why I like this game is that it reminds me of my childish side. Moreover, it evokes good memories with my friends, whom i have not seen for a long time.

RECOMMENDATION
  • Use a smelly sock instead of a hanky para walang mananalo dahil walang gustong humawak sa sock.
  • Instead of bringing the hanky to the boundary line using the hand, i-blow na lang hanggang makarating sa line.

LESSON OF THE GAME

Keep in touch with your old friends :) awww

MAY BUKAS PA

Yes the name of the game is so related to the game itself.

MECHANICS

  1. Form two groups of equal number of players.
  2. Each member of the groups stands in a straight line, sideward to each other, making sure both feel are lying on the straight line. Hence, two lines are formed, one for each group.
  3. Each of the member walks on the line till he gets to the side of the last person at the other end.
  4. The group whose last member reaches the end first, wins the game.
  5. The referee signals which group wins.

SKILLS (scale out of 5)

  1. Balance (5/5) - suuuper kelangan.
  2. Size of the feet (5/5) - mas ok kung mas mahaba paa mo para no effort pag tapak sa line. Hahaha.

EXPERIENCE

I was actually late when the mechanics of the game was told. Hence, I was clueless until the first member of the group started to move. Hahaha. The mechanics definitely is easy to understand. The game does not need much energy and intensity to win over the other group actually. I think that what makes it interesting. You don't actually need to get worn out just to win a game. It was naother laugh trip game. Sobrang joke time lang! Nandadaya na nga kahit sino pero ok lang just have fun.

RECOMMENDATION
  • Medyo mahaba kasi yung line kapag madaming group members so I suggest make it 3 gourps instead of 2.
  • Naka-tip-toe dapat para mas challenging.
  • Nakapikit yung member na tatawid to the other end para masayang pagtawanan.
  • Bawal humawak pag tumawid to the other end para mas ma-test and balance.

LESSON OF THE GAME

Teleserye inspired? Haha!
